Heavenly Vanilla Maca Smoothie

Serves 2 (or one greedy person like me)
Preparation time: 2 minutes
Approx 230kcal per serving

I believe in breakfast. Can't possibly do without it. To me breakfast needs to meet 3 key criteria, it has to be delicious, nutritious and easy to make so I can zap out the door ready to face the big wide world out there with a smile and loads of energy.

This smoothie recipe ticks all those boxes. You can tell by the ingredients why it's delicious, I've added oats and dates so it'll fuel you for hours, and it takes about 2 minute to make. What more could a girl ask for? She could ask that her boyfriend be back from working in Burma and on holiday. Oh, and he is, yay! Which is why we decided to drink these smoothies out of champagne glasses this morning, a celebratory smoothie :)

Ingredients
3/4 cup of dairy-free milk (i used rice milk)
1 banana
1 T ground almond
1/2 T slivered almonds
3 pitted dates
1 cup of oats
1 t maca powder
1 T vanilla soy yogurt
1 t vanilla essence
1 T sunflower seeds

Directions
Just blend it all together and serve!
